Main Story Playtime

The campaign content in StarCraft II usually runs about 35 to 50 hours if you play through the main story arcs without chasing every side objective. Progress is split into discrete missions, with time between battles spent choosing research, upgrades, unit unlocks, and the next operation, so the game moves forward in clear chunks rather than long open-ended stretches.

Most missions take around 20 to 40 minutes, though a few larger set pieces can run longer if you play carefully or restart after a bad push.
